French History |
| Our class follows French history from the end of the Napoleonic Wars
through WWII. During this time period, France followed the following
sequence of governments: Empire, Monarchy, 100 days Empire, Monarchy,
Liberal Monarchy, Republic, Empire, Republic, Authoritarianism, and finally
Republic. For this great variance, France helps us to fulfill our goal of
comparative government. It's rare that you can so much with one country but
France is perfect for it.
