20th Century Wars
Our class studies six 20th century wars in depth. Those wars
are the Boer War (1899-1902), the Great War (1914-1918), the
Russian Civil War (1918-1922), the Second World War (1939-1945),
the Korean War (1950-1953) and the Viet Nam War (1964-1975).
These five wars allow us to study wars in Africa, the Pacific,
Europe, North Asia and Southeast Asia. In addition, it
allow us to cover civil wars as well as international wars as
well as limited and total wars. The table below is a quick
reference to the six wars.
